I get to ride the El!

Friday I get to ride Chicago’s world famous El train! I get to take the blue line from O’Hare to Rosemont, then wait for a bus to take me to Woodfield Mall, where it’s lunch with the lovely, and Jewish (and very proud of it!) Miss Creant. Perhaps a little shopping, too. Then I get to try to mosey my way over to the area of Chief O’Niell’s, where I shall hook up with the lovely waitress Beth.

be sure to check out the man hole covers. i understand they are painting them. van gogh and someone else i can’t think of right now. goodness, green river, cows, and now man hole covers. chicago, chicago, that’s a happening town.

As I posted in the other thread, I am free this whole weekend. If you care to take me up on it, I would be happy to catch up with you at Woodfield anytime after ummm…5:45 or so and give you a lift to Chief O’Neill’s. Email me to discuss.

Oh no you don’t!

That will be a solid 35 seconds of track between the lanes of the Kennedy. Not quite the watershed L experience. You really need to jump the Brown line from Wrigleyville and cruise down to the loop, then shoot back up the Red line to Wrigley Field. Now thats a L ride. Of course its just mass transit…not exactly a vacation experience.

Oh, no. I’m staying away from anything named “Manhole.”

Hey, Super, are you sure you don’t want to ride the E?
“Manhole: Your hole is our hole.” Whata town.

MikeG: You have mail.

ts: You dork :). You know you’re the only person who can “plunge my pipes,” as it were.

Eeewww! Stop, you two! Now I have to go scrub my brain. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hehehehehehe

oh sure, i tell you to look for great art under your feet and y’all turn it into something lewd and tawdry.

what was i thinking?!?
