I feel important now. I just received an e-mail from ebay asking me to update my details etc- the ones that are known as spoofing or phishing. It was all professionally done, and the fake site was very good.
However they did have a spelling mistake- ‘department’ was spelt as ‘deptartment’. And it arrived in my gmail account which I have never linked to ebay.
They could have saved themselves the trouble. Even though I have an ebay account, I have never bought anything on it.
I feel better now though.
