My boyfriend got him for me from a friend of his. He’s a little Chinese Crested, you know, the dogs without hair except for a mohawk? He is sooo sweet and cute! He has these beautiful big brown eyes and a short spiky mohawk on his head and his ears are so long! He is so tiny and has a strange quirk of walking around with his tongue sticking out. I named him Gizmo, because he looks like the Gizmo from Gremlins!
Unfortunately, I can’t bring him home yet as he’s only about 21 days old, but damn he’s a sweet little thing! Born on the 5th of December, just in time for Xmas! I can’t wait until I can bring him home!
What a cool gift…just make sure to get that pup into obedience classes right away. They not only teach you basic obedience but help to socialize the puppy which is VERY important.
I know how hard it, but you have to teach that dog to listen to you when he’s young- otherwise, you will end up with a spoiled little dog who thinks he’s royalty.
I plan to tke him to “puppy school” after he has his shots… it will be hard to train him, he has such a sweet and cheeky personality, but I know it has to be done or else I’'ll be picking up puppy poop with a pair of gutted Gucci stilletos!
And yes, it is a good idea to put special skin cream (for dogs) on his skin, and wash with an extra gentle shampoo… more like a doggy cleanser. And he has to wear sunscreen when he plays in the sun!
