My Gordon Setter girl, Kharma , has been off this weekend with my friend/her field trainer, Gary, and he just called to tell me that she qualified both days on the Junior Hunter test ! :smiley: She already had 1 qualifying score , and needs 4 all together , so this puts her 3/4 the way there.

I am very, very proud and happy. I have had/shown Gordon Setters for 23 years and this will be the first field title I have gotten on one.

I have promised her a steak dinner when she finished the title.

(Sorry for the gushing… just had to share this with someone !)

What sort of trial is a Hunter trial? I’ve only seen obedience, carting, agility and herding.
