There are other websites out there, in particular Canadian sites selling cannabis.

A popular choice for local middle-class stoners who prefer not to get involved with the paramilitaries who control the drug business here.

Basically, I’m told, the worst that can happen is that a package gets confiscated before delivery ( if addressed to " the Occupier" there is plausible deniability, and the cops aren’t interested in investigating) or stolen by a postal worker.

I learnt this from a patient, after asking how much he smoked per week, and being told that it was “£X, plus P&P”.

I’m actually more interested in the whole “untraceable digital money” idea behind the bitcoins themselves. That whole idea just seems screwy to me, and I’m really fascinated by it.

I heard about it a week or so ago on NPR and thought it was a joke, but it really is an established “currency” of a sort.

Truly weird.
