I have great respect for Ms. Lansbury - she was really able to go from sex kitten to matron in her career without struggling to keep up sex kitten. There has never seemed to be anything in her that apologized for getting old.
I like that now about Diane Keaton as well. I’m not sure Ms. Keaton was ever “hot” - more cute. But she just transitioned as she aged without seeming to fuss about it.

I’ve said this on another board, but young Angela Lansbury very closely resembled Nicole Kidman. In fact, Lansbury could convincingly play Kidman’s grandmother without anyone having to suspend disbelief.
As a kid, I only knew Barbara Stanwyck as the matriarch in The Big Valley and The Thorn Birds. Then I saw some photos from earlier in her career. Yowza!

Janice Dickinson. I’d only known her as the insane ANTM judge with bad plastic surgery and increasingly sad reality show wannabe. When I saw a picture of her back in the day, I was shocked. She should sue her plastic surgeon (well, all of them).
She always looked to me like she smelled like Pacino’s cologne, or Woody Allen’s sunburn medication.
