I HATE Apples.

We’re Gala, Braeburn, Fuji fans. They must be cold, not room temperature.

My husband is a wedge slicer. I have perfected the Silent Stare at his apple, then the Long Look into his eyes. He offers me a slice, which I take with a  and a “Thanks, hon!”

I made baked apples a few weeks ago to celebrate (heh) a fresh, new package of cinnamon in the house. Brown sugar. Lots of walnuts. Mmmmmm.

Heh. I live in Minnesota. Just try to get away from Honeycrisps up here - you can’t. (They were engineered at the University of Minnesota.) They are quite tasty.

About three years ago, I went to the supermarket on my lunch break and found an apple called “Ambrosia.”

Changed my life, it did. I’ve tried convincing the produce managers at all the other chains to carry them, but without much success.

I find them superior to Honeycrisps, too.

I’ll eat any apple (even Red Dels), the crisper the better, sweet or sour. I could eat three a day. I’m confident that I’ve averaged an apple a day for my entire life.

Hate Red Deliciouses. Mushy and flavorless IMO.

Give me your Fujis, your Galas, your Granny Smith, your Braeburns…

Nice and crispy first off. Then sweet or tart is good, but don’t make it meh flavor.

(now, let’s talk melon if you want to talk hate-ons… :D)

I will not eat a raw apple but I do like them cooked. Apple pie, Apple crisp, Applesauce etc

Love Galas, Pink Ladies, and Honey Crisps.

What’s worse than finding a worm in your apple?

Finding half a worm in your apple.
