I watch the Indians religiously on TV. I can’t watch during day games. We have zero TV reception at work.
So, when does rookie Travis Hafner hit for the cycle? During a goddamned day game!
I’m going to go sob quietly in the corner, now.

Did he really hit for the cycle? That’s cool! (Cooler if an Oriole did it…)
I “watch” day games at work on mlb.com. “Gameday” It’s the next best thing.
You can listen as well at mlb.com. I might be a crank, but I prefer to listen to the ballgame. Old habits die hard, I guess.
As to day games, I just came back from watching Boston pull one outta their ass at Oakland. I love day games, me.
It’s call tape. And if you don’t like watching a taped game, because you know how it will end, then maybe that tells you something about how little real entertainment it provides.
I’m pretty happy either way.
I paid mlb to listen to Indians games last year. The connections were terrible!
Unfortunately, even that option won’t work for me at work. No sound card in my computer.
Thanks for your oh-so-helpful comments.
(Can I use a roll-eyes under these circumstances? Please?)

Get stuffed, kjj.
jsgoddess, they’ll probably be showing it on ESPN during sportscenter, and if it was on ESPN or ESPN2 today, you can bet it’ll be part of the abbreviated play they show.
And many thanks to kjj for re-adjusting the signal:noise ratio:rolleyes:
Yeah, really! A cycle isn’t as rare as an unassisted TP, but it’s pretty cool! SportsCenter (and BB Tonight) will be ALL over it!
