Ok, I am 15. Getting that out of the way. I was sitting in a class when I overhrard these girls talking about what they stole from a store last weekend. They were complaining about how the store was putting up new security devices. Oh! Boo Hoo! I am supposed to feel sorry for you people? I have to pay a lot of money for my clothes just because you don’t want to? Go to Hell! I confronted these people and asked them why they did it. “Because we needed more clothes.” What the hell? You people are popular! You drive expensive cars! You can get away with murder! GO TO HELL! I asked them if they felt it was wrong. No, stores expect people to steal, so they drive up the prices is what they said. Then I tried the guilt trip, saying some kid in India got paid 12 cents an hour to make that POS and you just stole it from him. Taking food from starving people. This didn’t even work. I have to hear about this just about every day. It’s not just the girls. Some dumb jocks just got caught stealing. I have had it. I have to watch what I do in stores all of the time just because some idiot decided they wanted to rip me off. I have to chec my backpack and keep everyone that is around me in sight to make sure they don’t take anything. I am tired of people using me to get things for theemselves. I wish I had some way to just deal with these folks. GO TO HELL! Anyone got any ideas for dealing with them in the future?
You are all missing the point. Just kill them. Saves time and money.

My sister came home the other day and wanted to show off the toe ring she had stolen. I asked if I could see it, and when she gave it to me, I bent it in half.
I used to steal, I’ll admit it. But dammit, the day you start, you should know one thing: You WILL get caught. It’s just a matter of when.

Apologies on my part as well, Lynn… my (now-removed) post was a long-standing in-joke for me, so I didn’t think it’d be innappropriate.
I dislike stealing in general, but the only thieves I dislike as people are those who delude themselves into thinking they have a right to do what they do. It belays quite a large amount of ego and ignorance on their part.
I’m 15 too Reddragon, so I feel your pain. These people are not only greedy, they are also demented for thinking they’ll be able to do this forever and not get caught. The rich ones drive me especially nuts because you know they could afford to buy whatever it is. Now that my rant is over, I say you tell everyone you know that they are thieves. I don’t know if a rumor about it would make people see them for the greedy princesses they are, but it might, and maybe it might make them feel just a little bit guilty. I know all the stuff you already tried (which would have been the first stuff I would have tried too) involving guilt trips didn’t work, but if these people are popular, then maybe everyone’s opinion about them might matter some.
