Okay…the wife and I have started looking at buying a house as opposed to renting, and we’re reading through the ads and looking online and these places keep coming up with 1.1 and 2.1 bathrooms. What in the hell do you get for the extra .1? A spitoon? I can’t find anything via google, so what’s the story? Thanks for the help.

Just guessing, but I believe:
1.1 = 1 full bath, 1 half bath (toilet and sink, no shower or tub)
2.1 = 2 full baths, 1 half bath
2.2 = 2 full baths, 2 half baths
I don’t know… I’ve heard of 1.5 and 2.5 etc., where the .5 bathroom is a toilet and sink, but no shower or tub. I think you can also have a .75, where there’s a stand-up shower too.
But .1? Maybe it’s just a sink…
Maybe indicates a bidet?
