I have a tooth ache.

The dentist can’t see me until Tuesday. I’m pretty sure my wisdom tooth on the left is coming in, because my whole jaw on that side aches like I got punched.

I haven’t seen a dentist in fifteen years. I’m convinced I hate them, but I just realized that I don’t even remember what it’s like to get dental work.

15 years? Not even just for cleanings?

They really can be your best friend. Contrary to popular myth, they’re there to prevent you from experiencing pain, not to inflict it. Find a good one, go see him regular and you’ll prevent a lot of issues that otherwise are going to cause you extreme amounts of discomfort, not to mention that will affect your overall health.

Yeah, fifteen years without so much as a cleaning. I’m sure I have dozens of dental issues I’ll have to get solved. I don’t know why I never go to the dentist, but I think that’s all going to change now that I’m starting to suffer the consequences.

Try letting an aspirin dissolve on the tooth that is hurting. Doesn’t taste good and destroys gum tissue, but will make the pain subside –
I’ve had well over $10,000 of dental work - after my insurance, so I can sympathize -
Good Luck!!
