When I was in school some decades ago, I was a good speller. Not now. I repeatedly misspell the same words over and over and let spell checker fix it. Sometimes I am even surprised when I spell a word correctly.
I have become a faster typist, though. I wonder if others have experienced this.
Sometimes. Sometimes the frickin’ spell check changes things that don’t need changing, or changes them to a word I didn’t intend to use, and I have to correct it 3 times, and then I’m a much slower typist.
It could be worse. You could become a terrible smeller.
