From an actual catalog: “Disco balls create an enchanting, dazzling effect of light shafts, adding movement and glamour to any occasion” the Abrams’ bris was certainly memorable

I recently started taking a second medication to help with the insomnia (likely contributed to by the first medication) but it doesn’t seem to be working. I just can’t sleep.
I’m totally exhausted, halfway incoherant, disoriented, etc… but I can’t sleep. I’m actually HYPER in my third day of no sleep.

Opalcat, definately go to your doctor, or call and see if he can up the dosage of the sleeping medication. Trust me, I’ve been one of the medicated masses, and unless you fix the problem NOW, it’ll only get worse!
Opal–Oh, man. I sympathize. When I was going through insomnia, my doctor told me to try some relaxation techniques. She also said that reading would make it worse (especially since I told her that I was reading a lot of Stephen King). I ignored that advice and read my horror novels anyway. The one that finally put me to sleep was called “Insomnia.” No, I’m not making it up. I still haven’t been able to get past a few pages without falling asleep.
Seriously, though, go to a doctor. And I hope you’re having sweet dreams soon. Take care of yourself.
Forget the doctor. Take advantage of your situation to get some long overdue errands done. And since you’re not sleeping, don’t just sit there! Clean up! Tidy! If you’re not gonna sleep might as well make yourself useful.
