I think it was Kohn, no e. And the name Kerry, I read today, was picked out of a book of Irish names. Combine that with living in Massachusetts and it’s no no wonder plenty of people (including Kerry himself, apparently) figured his family was mostly Irish.

And, as biographies like to note when discussing the ‘patrician’ side of his personality, one of his ancestors (on mom’s side) was John Winthrop, the first governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Depending on how you look at it, it’s either an innocuous rumple in Kerry’s pants, or the outline of an enormous monster-cock. Most tall, thin guys like him are well-hung, so I don’t entirely rule out the latter. Yet another reason to put the man in office.
