of an unwiped ass, and as for the people who post and enjoy them… well, this isn’t the pit, is it?-

No, some people post by copying & pasting from Notepad, and it inserts hard returns at the end of each line, and they let the carriages return where they may.
There are forum descriptions for a reason. The tread would have been OK in the Pit as written, or OK in IMHO with some changes. The OP can simply chose which makes sense and start a new thread. I like that the forum descriptions mean something here and that they’re enforced.
Or to continue the metaphor: don’t move aside the large “UNWIPED ASS” sign, kneel and plant your nose squarely into the fudgy brown crack before inhaling deeply.
I do not see how the penthouse concept applies to this, and I do not see how a post that would be acceptable in the Pit can be not acceptable outside the Pit unless it contains the one rule difference in the Pit: that people are allowed to be directly insulted. There’s no such insult in this.
It’s just crude, in the same way many other posts on this board are crude. And I see nothing in any of the forum descriptions that say that there will not be crude comments made within.
And I agree with MeanOldLady in that I do not understand proactive moderation. It’s kinda insulting: “I know someone will eventually start breaking the personal attacks rule, so I must shut down the thread before that happens.”
It was more fun to read as a poem.
