I absolutely can NOT believe this.
Not ONE farking bit (censored for the mouse-over folks).
I wait (literally) decades for a team to be put back in Washington DC.
DECADES
And now, one year after I take a job out of state…
This.
I hope all you bastards appreciate it. It was me that made it happen. Fate saw a chance to mock me in one of the biggest possible ways.
Did I mention the decades I waited?
Fate took it’s shot.
I’m getting some venture cap, starting a new firm, and moving back.
Or buying the damn MLB cable package at least.
Damn it.
Start a private elementary school, eliminate most (nobody can totally eliminate them all) of the trappings of the bad ones and I’ll come work for you in a few years. Don’t think people won’t flock to you - you’ve seen the area, and it gets more education-hungry as you get closer to D.C.
Of course, rent prices also get higher.
Yeah, but it’s the Expos.

So now we can say “First in war, first in peace, and last in the National League”?
Bastard. Now what is Montreal gonna do with that stadium?
Hey, have pity on the poor MLB guys who have been sitting around for decades waiting for you to move! Do you think it’s been easy for them, coming in to the office every week, having to tell their boss, “no, JC hasn’t moved out of state yet, we can’t bring a team in this week.” Think of all the years wasted, just waiting for you to go so they could get a team back!
