I attained rhythm
I attained endurance
I attained soggy shorts and sore feet
Yeah, I don’t feel as euphoric as when I ran my first ten mile (though unrelated circumstances may have diminished that). Can’t say for sure it was more trying, but it was more difficult. Took some zenlike state to not trip up even once.
Not happy with my tempo, which is a criticism I have for my jogs, but with jumprope there’s that constant indicator feedback.
Now to master that alternating step deal.
What?! I’m amazed when I can get to 200 jumps in a row!
An hour straight is commendable. Insane, but commendable.
You are 3% of the way to a world record! Joey Motsay 33 hours, 20 minutes.
Um, what’s the difference between the two?
Congrats! I tried jumping rope a while back, without much success. It was hard. I couldn’t get the bouncing right. And I could feel the flab flopping around. But it was seeing myself in the mirror that put an end to that particular exercise. It was so easy 50+ years ago.
Hah! Thanks, all. I didn’t think I set any sort of world record; just a personal one.
I mean that I couldn’t brute force my way through like when jogging. This took, I dunno, composure?
