I just discovered a major loophole!

I am reminded of a bit by Dennis Miller:
Two of Shit is Shit. If they really want to screw you they’ll give you 3.
In other words, do you really want or need 2 breakfast sandwiches from McDonalds?

One of shit would also be shit. If you’ve decided to purchase one sandwich you’ve already determined that the sandwich isn’t shit, therefore you may want a second.

McDonald’s (at least near me) has some offer on the receipt where you do an internet survey about that visit and get a Buy-1-Get-1-Free code for Egg McMuffins or Quarter Pounders. The one time I used it, the cashier seemed surprised and said no one has actually handed one in to him before. This was after the promotion had been running for a month.

Or OR sometimes you crave shit. Probably because you hate yourself on some level. And by “you” I mean “society”. And by “society” I mean “me”.

Do I REALLY need 2 McDonalds breakfast sandwiches? No

Do I REALLY want 2 Sausage Biscuit with Egg Sandwiches? Hell YES!
UPDATE: I tried using one of my 2 for 1 large sandwich coupons at the same restaurant. The attendant asked for the coupon. So, perhaps it was just something the morning attendant was doing procedurally wrong. If that is the case, I’m ok with just getting my breakfast sandwiches half off.

Morn!

UPDATE:

I went to McD’s this AM and told them I had a 2 for 1 any breakfast sandwich coupon. I placed my order and when I went to pay for it, the lady asked for my coupon, which I gave to her.

So the loophole was only possible due to lazy employees, apparently.

So much for discount breakfast sandwiches. I had used this coupon six times. It was a good run while it lasted.

are we all poor in here or just cheap? :p:p

Not a McDonald’s story, but…

I was at the grocery store, checking out. I had over $200 in groceries, and I had a lot of coupons. Two of them were $1 off for 15 cans of dog food. I bought 30 cans of dog food.

As the clerk was ringing up the coupons, the dog food coupons wouldn’t scan. She had to enter them manually, and she rang up the two coupons for $15 each! I told her that she did it wrong, and she said no, she did it right. I tried again, but she wasn’t seeing it. The line was growing behind me, so…

I got $45 worth of dog food for $15, instead of $43.
