If you feel real strongly, you should write them an actual letter. Like you said, it probably won’t make a difference, but places are more likely to pay attention to letters instead of e-mails because any schmo can write an e-mail. Not many people these days write letters.
As for Seabiscuit…color me ignorant but I had never even heard of the horse until I first saw the trailer for this movie a few months ago. I had heard of his grandfather, Man-O-War, but not Seabiscuit.
