I was quite confused for awhile. Strange for a Friday puzzle.
Of course one of the most famous of the NYT crossword puzzles was the one from November 5, 1996, which was election day when Bill Clinton was running against Bob Dole.
Aaaaaandd, I’m an idiot. I just did the puzzle at random without looking at the date.
There was another April 1st puzzle that gave me a laugh. Something along the lines of the clues being the answers.
