I would like to suggest you go to a Hobby store and get a de-bonder. They sell Cyano acrylates there to glue stuff together but they also use it to make sure nuts dont vibrate out of there bolts (not a good thing in an RC plance or helicopter)
To remove these superglued nuts, you spray a de-bonding agent that breaks up the glue. Try looking for one on the phonebook while you soak.
Actually, your standard nail polish remover won’t do the trick-
it has to be a brand with acetone, instead of non-acetone like most of them.
Found that out when I superglued two fingers together 2 hours before a friend’s wedding.
I still sucked as a dance partner that night though!
I used the (kinda dull) blade on my swiss-army knife to separate my fingers last time that happened, but then, I’m young and stupid, and it probably isn’t a good idea.
Superglued nuts? I thought I was clumsy with superglue. But all I’ve ever glued was my fingers.
Imagine someone getting the instructions on this thread confused – they then use nail polish on their superglued nuts. Blue balls, anyone? The people at the ER certainly would have something to talk about.
