I just got my Trans Union credit score on my credit report. Whoo Hoo! 888 out of 934. This is the highest I have ever seen even though I admit I haven’t seen that many. I am not planning on getting new credit any time soon so it is actually useless to me for now. However, like any score, I am opening it to competition from others. Anyone care to challenge my 888. Didn’t think so. Chump.

I know exactly how you feel. I am getting a mortgage right now and my FICO score has become imprinted on my brain. (No, it’s nowhere near yours although it’s still very very good.) Congratulations and as I am sure you know, don’t do anything that will jeopardize it. I wish I had listened more when someone tried to impress upon me how important that number is. (But I do take full blame for being, in my tender youth, an irresponsible fool.)
One thing, though: I am fairly sure that the Trans Union score is not the same as the FICO score. My Trans Union score is about 60 points higher than my FICO. But even if that’s true with you, you still have an EXCELLENT score.
Does Mensa accept that for admission? 
We just refinanced our house, and our lender told me that my husband’s score is in the 800s.
So I’m MARRIED TO great credit! That’s gotta be worth something.
very impressive! in my two years as credit underwriter for a major, famous company (i still say they SUCK, however!) that is about the highest i have heard of. (actually, now that i think about it, the product we financed did attract a certain, um, well, lets say, type of customer, often with shaky credit) i think i had a few in the 800’s but 888 is indeed great!
im guessing you have never joined a health club, been in stupid record clubs and have never had any medical complications. even when you pay your bills to these scabs, you end up with credit blemishes.
want a loan? (im also guessing you don’t need one! guys with the good credit never do)
I hope you realize that talking about your score lowers your score. So let’s see, 888, take away 139 page views, gets you back down to a still respectable 749. If I were you, I’d hope this thread dies out quickly.

Tans Union is a credit reporting company. They provide credit reports about you for credit checks. As you may have guessed, the higher the score the better you are as a credit risk to lenders.
I don’t know what our score is, but we’ve never been turned down for any loan - mortgages, land, boats, motorcycle, vehicles, personal, credit cards… It’s almost to the point with our credit union where we ask for a loan and they go “Take what you need” - OK, not quite, but almost.
Needless to say, we’ve been trying to impress upon our child the importance of good credit, and not just with Mom and Dad National Bank.
I had terrible credit. Then I married into good credit. The Mrs. is very responsible and since marrying her my credit has gone up and up. I think I am around the low 700’s now.
