:bump:
I just saw it and I have to say, two things seem to be the obvious problem.

It’s boring. The cardinal sin of any movie is to be boring and this one commits it. I was checking my watch(well, iPod) for the time and trying estimate how much was left in the movie. If you did that and I want it to end, you messed up.

I would wager a guess that Keanu Reeves came back and re-filmed extensive scenes to include him in it more, something a few of you have heard rumors of. This story is not about him and you can tell that the script included him, but was not about him. Re-writes and re-shoots made it about him and it fails.
I would place zero blame on Reeves for this one, unless he was an executive producer and was involved in changing it the way it is. I’m guessing he signed up for a better movie and had it changed on him in post.
I can’t believe it, but his movie Man of Tai Chi, is the better movie. I was not expecting that.
And I like Keanu a lot and think he is highly underrated. It helps that he’s a really nice guy in real life, but I also like most of the choices he’s made. Most of them, that is.
