I just saw a Christmas commercial

I think I hate life.

Looking thru a time warp?

Christmas: Just shoot me.

Unless they’re doing a pseudo-Australian “Christmas in summertime” thing related to a separate sale event not long from now, that is inexcusable.

Noooooooooo.

what a Scrooge.

Is this in American thing? I’ve never heard of early Christmas commercials in Australia.

It’s a marketing gimmick. There used to be (maybe still are) sales referred to “Christmas in July” because the prices are so low it will be like getting a gift.

This last year, I walked into Target on New Year’s Eve and was confronted with Valentine’s Day displays. It never ends.

Oh OK. Here in Australia “Christmas in July” usually means a sort of traditional Christmas meal in restaurants or hotels in July, usually with crackers and Christmas trees and other decorations.

Did you see it on the Hallmark Channel? They’re doing their Christmas-in-July this week.

The really bad part is the ads are for Christmas 2015.

147 shopping days till Christmas.

I just saw the most recent newsletter from the senior facility where we deliver meals on wheels. It lists the days when one should fly the flag. Included were Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. :: old rolleyes::

WTH? Really!? That’s just…

Our local R/C Hobby shop only has Christmas commercials. They run all year long. I don’t get it.

Walking into Walmart tonite - the bell ringing Salvation Army was set up -

Saw that at a grocery store in Wisconsin last weekend.

Wait, isn’t there a war on Christmas?

And, apparently, Christmas is winning.
