Damn you, Tentacle Monster!! You’ve made me curious, too.
We used to sell and rent anime porn at my adult store but the stuff mentioned here seems more intense or extreme? What’s the difference… really? More of a plot? I thought the stuff we had was silly and somewhat cute (why do all the aliens have a prick with ten heads?), and the girls being, dare I say, “raped” sounded so enthusiatic. I didn’t see anything really offensive but maybe what we had was watered down anime? Please explain the difference. And maybe suggest a few titles to start a newbie down the dark path, heh heh.
Thanks for the kind words. I try to have fun with my reviews.
Hentai Jump is indeed still around, in fact it has an innocuous opening page so you can link directly to it.
Hentai Jump clearly suffers from the fact that its reviewer doesn’t like bondage themes, which hentai are full of. If you’ll note, those hentai that have bondage themes get bad reviews, those that don’t get good reviews, for the most part.
Another site I like has Hentai Neko, though it too suffers from an anti-bondage bias on the part of the reviewer, but the reviewer is female so you get a distaff view of hentai, and something more than “Eeeew! That’s disgusting!” The homepage has some explicit ads so I can’t link directly, but if you type in hentaineko and add dotcom, surely you will arrive there.
FLCL is a riff on puberty and how adolescent insecurities play out through standard anime tropes. It’s brilliant and sensitive and funny and heartfelt and if all that you get out of it is that it’s weird, you’re not watching it closely enough.
