I just won a financial plan from NerdWallet. How can I get info about them?

A couple of weeks ago I entered a contest on nerdwallet.com for a free financial plan. They called me today and told me that I had won. (Yippee???)

I’m trying to get more information about nerdwallet. Web of Trust shows them as trustworthy, so that’s good. Wikipedia has a brief positive write up about them.

But I’m also interested in other information, particularly, how many visitors do they have in a day / week / month? Is there any free public info about this? (I tried googling “google page views”, but this seemed to just point me to pay services.)

Does anyone have experience or information about nerdwallet to share?

Thanks,
J.

I would guess that most everyone with financial assets and/or income wins. It’s marketing/mining for new clients. The advisor will key your information into their software which will spit out how much you need to save for retirement, education, etc. It’ll also tell you how much you need in insurance. From there, I’m sure the friendly financial advisor will help you choose the best financial products (that they sell) which will help you to meet your uncovered financial needs. It won’t hurt to hear what they say, just make sure you research any products they offer before you purchase/invest. Congrats!
