Unclebeer: Thanks for the clarification. Rant retracted, although my second post in this thread should have clarified it’s purpose slightly.
Coldfire: Point taken.
Stofsky: Fuck you. It seems to me a moderators job is to BAN trolls. The “troll hunters” job is to point out trolls, at least according to the trolls themselves. How have I whined about getting roasted “every single time?” I’ve taken and given my share of flames, and don’t recall whining about any fair shot. There’s a difference between whining, and retaliating. How exactly am I trying to start trouble? By venting, albeit in a vague way?
Perhaps I should have clarified and said “I’m sick and tired of the fact that the entire world caters to the wishes of the lowest common denominator. Be it with terrible, corporate money-music, awful looking ‘trendy’ clothing and fashions, horrible tasting fast food, cooked to guarantee the largest amount of people enjoy it with the least amount of complaints or special orders, slow speed limits, ugly, trendy cars, stupid flash-in-the-pan crank-it-out-as-fast-as-you-can ‘Slug Slide’ Hollywood movies, or idiotic, laugh track fueled TV shows, you cannot get anything that is not dumbed down to the tastes of the stupidest, most cretinous humans on this planet.” I would, but then I myself would have been catering to the lowest common denominator. I’m sure most people who saw this, then read my second post, knew immediately what I was referring to.
Look here, Stofsky, I may not be the most well liked poster there is, but I have quite a few friends and supporters here on this message board.
Besides, I don’t think someone who has been registered a scant two weeks has any place or knowledge enough to make judgement on how well liked a person is, or how highly they are held in esteem, especially one who’s been around as long as I. How about YOU grow up, lurk awhile, learn who’s who and the board dynamics, then YOU can come back.
But that’s just my opinion.
Jizzrag.
