'I like people who have friends.' What movie is that from?

Someone says, ‘I’m a friend of [name].’ The other guy says, '‘I like people who have friends.’ What movie is that from?

Doesn’t ring a bell, and my google-fu is failing.

It immediately made me think of the exchange from Repo Man

“Charming friends you’ve got there, Otto.”
“Thanks, I made them myself.”

Which probably isn’t helpful, but is another delightful quote in the same vein.

Yeah, I tried “I like people who have friends”, “I like people with friends”, “people with friends”, and “people who have friends”, all with “quote”. Turned up nothin’.

In my head, I picture Bruce Willis saying it; but it might just be a Bruce Willis “type”.

Could’ve been Sean Connery, in DOCTOR NO.

James Bond: “I’m a friend of Commander Strangways.”
Quarrel: “Now ain’t that nice? I like people who’s friends of people.”

THAT’S IT!

:smack: I should have remembered, since Dr. No is one of my favourite Bond films.

I don’t know how I got Bruce Willis in my head.

Thanks.
