I really want an older version of 123 FreeSolitaire which I have overwritten by upgrades on my computer and is no longer available from the download site. I tried to upload the .exe file of the older version from a friend and sent it as an AOL attachment to my own PC. It seems to download easily enough, but when I try to open it I get “Can’t find/load c:\program files\sol.rgf” When I click OK to that message I get “is not a valid integer value”. Anyone have any ideas? The specific game I like is Diplomat and before you say it, yes, I have no life.

Did the friend give you just the main program, perhaps? If so, you could ask your friend for all the files, or at least for that one.

Spend some time with Google. Recently I looked for and found an old version of a program I wanted. I had to go thru a number of Google pages and finally found it on a non-English website. Of course, make sure the site is reputable, virus-scan the download before installing it, etc.
If you just wanna play solitaire, go to pogo.com. Free, fun. Or go spend $5 on those cheapie card game computer games. But pogo is funner.
