The only checks I have written for the last three months have been for rent and I don’t have to buy stamps anymore.
Excuse me, I am getting quite emotional…talk amongst yourselves…

Oooohhhh Yeahhhh …
I can DEFINITELY relate, Tretiak. The ultimate anaesthetic when it comes to sending money to the monthly black holes. The deftness of the mouse-click. The little figures going up, going down …
mmmm-mmmmm-mmm…
I just started doing this last month. Good stuff, so far. I might like it a little less when the “first 3 months free” trial expires and I start paying for it.
Got to love it. No more writing checks and then letting them ride around in my purse for a week–until they’re all late–because I’ve forgotten to post them. And I can tell the service when to pay them, so I always know when the money is coming out of the checking account–it makes balancing the thing much easier. Of course, so would doing it on a regular basis, but that would be too responsible. And I got 6 month free.
Yeah, my mom loves it too. She hasn’t balanced a checkbook in some 2 years, I’d say. For the most part, it’s easier. And then the computer crashes, or the bank system “accidentally” forgets to send out a payment, and we lose electricity for a few days…
LOL, I’d just as rather stick to my checkbook.
For direct deposit, I was supposed to provide a blank check. I don’t have any checks. I haven’t owned any checks in years!
My checks still have the address I lived at 4 years ago, that’s how few checks I write nowadays.
