I love that foamy hand soap!

Ok, it’s not really a new phenomenon, but I really love that foamy hand soap. I think the first place I really NOTICED it was at a TGI Fridays. There, it came out of the rocket ship looking dispenser, was sort of a blue color, and had a nice pleasing scent.

NOW, you can buy the special dispenser and soap for use at home!

And a secret I discovered by accident - I refilled my foamy dispenser with regular non-foamy specified hand soap, and it makes foam! So, no real need to spend the extra $$ to get the foaminess I love.

There’s just something extra pleasing about getting a dollop of soap that’s not runny, or that looks like dish soap. I’ts foam! It comes out in a little perfectly measured portion and stays right there where you put it until you start rubbing it all over your hands.

I know someone’s going to tell me how simple this is to do, and that it really doesn’t make the soap more effective, or isn’t a more efficient delivery system. But you know what? I don’t care!

I love that it’s foamy.

'Scuse me, I’m off to was my hands…

Sometimes, it’s the simple things like foamy hand soap that are little rays of sunshine in our lives. Enjoy your foamy cleanliness!

I like it most of the time - the fluffy texture is great - but sometimes it just isn’t strong enough. I had oil on my hands after a lab one day, so I went to the ladies’ room to wash up and found that they had installed dispensers filled with foamy soap. It didn’t work at all. I did find out from some classmates that the men’s room still had a dispenser with real soap.

I love foamy soap too! And it’s so much easier to get little ones to wash their hands well when the soap is pre-sudsed. I haven’t gotten a foamy dispenser for home because I didn’t want to pay more for foamy soap - now that I know my stuff will work in it, I’m off to Target!

I was introduced to foamy soap when my son was in the NICU–it’s what they use there. I didn’t know I could enjoy foamy goodness at home, too!

I’ve been at people’s houses where they have nice foamy hand soap from places like Bath and Body Works. Usually it comes in a fancy-looking plastic dispenser and smells really good.

What I can’t stand, however, is the fancy soap with the little flecks and bits of grit in it. It’s a disconcerting feeling washing my hands, and all of a sudden it feels like I have sand all over them, and then they’re glittery!

Am I the only one who finds foamy soap irritating? Give me a plain old bar to scrub with and Kythereia’s a happy lady.

Agreed! foam=good, glitter and grit=bad.

Oh, shush.

I find diluting the regular liquid soap to about 1/4 makes it work better in a foam dispenser, and lasts much longer too.
