I love you my sweet c*nt!

It was a scandal because it was a federally-funded institution full of people under supposedly strict discipline who should have known better. The reported incidence of rape at USAFA is comparable to the incidence at most other schools, despite the extreme gender imbalance and male chauvinist atmosphere that pervades the Academy.

You jackass. You, complete, utter jackass. Say what you will about our town, our academics, our football, our president, or Ralphy.

But never call us CSU.

All kidding aside, what exactly is it that you loathe about CU?

CSU? How’d I type that?*

  1. It’s filled with pretentious wingnuts. (Not everyone who goes there of course, but…)
  2. I went to Metro.
  3. Let’s be honest. It’s Berkley East–one of the primary vectors for liberalism in Colorado and I’m a Republican, hence the “general principles” comment. I think there’s a state law or somethin’ :stuck_out_tongue:

I gotta say, though that I have nothing against Ralphie and my “loathe” should not be taken to apply to him.

*With my fingers, o’ course!

How anticlimactic. She didn’t even blink.

You mean she didn’t climax?

It’s things like this and when mangeorge fried his semen that keep me coming back to the SDMB.

I thought they wore Cleats and were Smelly.

Cant Use Nookie Terminology

Well, I’ve had my ass handed to me in a few fora regarding this news story, but I stand by my assertion.

As a submissive woman, and something of a BDSM D/s Damsel In Distress enthusiast, the word Cunt turns me on like crazy. So if my husband knows that calling me that gets me all riled up and he uses it as such, isn’t that a term of endearment?

Read some slave girl porn or bondage porn for five minutes and you’ll hear girls being called cunt before you can blink. In some circles it’s very accepted and widely used.

And also, wasn’t there a story about a year or two ago about a bunch of feminists trying to initiate “cunt days” or something at a major university, on the grounds that the etymology of “cunt” arrives at English from an old word for “flower” or something… where as “vagina” originally meant “sheath for a sword.”

Help me out here… I couldn’t find anything on Google news, and I can’t search Google for “cunt” from work.

Just for the sake of completeness, from the OED online:

I’m not sure if that’s the quote everybody is thinking of, as it doesn’t look all that endearing to me.

As I’ve heard it, the contention is it comes from a word for wisdom. Apropo of Sophia (ie, wisdom is female). As in the word cunning.

I don’t know if it’s true. And anyway, my fondness for the word has nothing to do with it’s being respectable  .
