I haven’t made a big announcement but I’m engaged to erstwhile doper Cindy, AKA TheLadyLion. The festivities are set for March 29 at our church, Faith Lutheran, in Phoenix. We’re still working on the guest list but Phoenix dopers are invited.
Anyhoo, we’re off on vacation tomorrow to visit her mom and siblings in Ft. Wayne Indiana with an extra few days of sightseeing in Chicago. It’s the first time to the altar for both of us so we have the novelty of in-laws for the first time. So far I’ve hit off just fine on the phone with Cindy’s mom and my folks have practically adopted her. I’m really looking forward to the trip as I’ve never been to the midwest to speak of and have never been to Chicago.
