Cool. Are his eyes still so blue?
Dullea and Lockwood did the commentary for the latest DVD release of 2001, separately it seems, and were badly mixed together. Dullea did a much better job of it.

I saw him in an old episode of “Naked City”…long time ago!
Thank you! I just ordered one!
If they only had a 2-sheet in French!
Y’know, I didn’t really notice his eyes. I guess they were unremarkable. Sorry.
I saw this movie in middle school - which caused a bit of a furor among the parents. I don’t recall anything inappropriate. They may have been confusing the film with a similarly named one.
I talked briefly with and got a signature from Keir Dullea at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, Maryland on November 7, 2015 at a screening of 2001.
I wonder why he wasn’t in more stuff. I’ve barely seen him outside 2001.
Not expecting an answer from 12 years ago.
If I had to guess I would say the people who had a problem with it were the “We don’t come from monkeys” crowd.
David and Lisa has been made twice as a movie. The first time was in 1962, and that version was shown in movie theaters. The second version was made in 1998, and that version was a made-for-television movie. Both versions are available on YouTube for free.
I loved him in Bunny Lake is Missing. Also loved the groovy discotheque scene with The Zombies.
I liked that scene from “Black Chritmas” where he’s frantically pounding away at the piano in front of some skeptical panel.
Liked to have met him too!
