And I’m with SWB on Jorja Fox. That is NOT an attractive woman, IMO. A friend of mine used to say that she looked like she got hit in the face with a flaming shovel.

Where did you say you live?
Shirley is the best example of this. I like her spunk and moxie, but my God, she is a hard looking woman. That all being said, I find myself trying to find something attractive about her physically, and I constantly fail. It’s the permanent scowl, streetwalker clothing, and the makeup applied with a trowel, I think. But I like her! (Best thing that ever happened to Phil.)
Yeah, I don’t see it with Jorja Fox either. The boys of CSI (Grissom and shudder Caruso excepted) are pretty hot, but a lot of the women are more on the normal scale, I think.
But you’re women and presumedly the hotness of other women is a mostly theoretical issue with you. Just like I’d be guessing if William Petersen is hot or not.
But as a guy, I instinctively know that Jorja Fox is hot. And the lesbian rumors? That just makes her hotter.
As a guy I don’t think Jorja Fox is a knockout. She would be mid tier in most big office settings - I mean honestly walking downtown in most major cities you will find 10 women prettier than her in 10 minutes. She has a gap in her teeth and her eyes just look odd to me. I am not saying she is ugly, but she certainly wouldn’t be someone I would consider hot.

But then you’ve got the parade of ADAs (including Angie Harmon, a literal fashion model, Michaela McManus, and Stephanie March - though my favorite is Diane Neal). Plus, Tamara Tunie, as the medical examiner, is pretty easy on the eyes.
And I honestly can’t believe that I care this much about SVU. God help me, it’s not my fault the reruns are on cable approximately 17 times per day.

Yeah, but there’s an unwritten law than in order to be a female ADA on any L&O series, you must be young and hot. Once you cease to be either young and/or hot, you will be written out of the series.
In the L&O Alternative Universe, a DA determines his staff’s ability to be courtroom badasses based on how good they look in a short skirt and designer stilettos as opposed to the contents of their resume or any actual legal knowledge they may have (this is also known as McBeal’s Law).
You forget the downright goddess-like Jane Krakowski. How she has avoided being cursed by Aphrodite is unclear.
And the other female regular is Katrina Bowden - this is not a series that lacks female hotness.

I’m a guy and I think William Petersen is more good looking than Jorja Fox. This is also a personality issue, Jorja appears pretty uninteresting to me.
William also has the advantage of looking equally good with and without a beard.
