I need to find one or more good soundbites where someone says something about a lab or laboratory, especially something that includes a reference to something escaping from the lab or otherwise being evil or bad news.
I’m creating an audio thing where I’m talking about a good kind of lab where bad things don’t happen by contrasting it with bad labs where bad things happen.
Google was not particularly helpful, and the only thing close to what I need was a clip from Frankenstein (I jsut typed “Frankenstoid”…) 1931 where he says “It’s alive!” but it’s not ideal and only works for people who know the movie, since it doesn’t directly reference things happening in the lab.
You can search quotes at the IMDB. Go to that page and at the topmost drop-down list, select Quotes (immediately to the right of Search). Then type in “lab” or “laboratory” and off you go.

Don’t know how you are at editing but around the 5-7 minute mark, Dr. Malavaqua asks if Hunyadi is in the lab and then about 2 minutes later he freaks out when he finds out that Hunyadi is not, in fact, in the lab.
“I don’t understand this outburst. You’ve become highly irrational since that explosion in your laboratory. You lost your eye, your arm, your leg, your larynx. What’s wrong with you?”
