But, seroiusly, I do. Just bring a bunch of friends, who are are allowed to bring one one personal effect, travel to an uninhabited island somewhere in the world and hang out for about a month.
Problem is, I need an island. What’s the best location to do something like this? The island needs to have some fresh water, access to fish and coconuts. I’m thinking maybe somewhere in South-East Asia…or in the pacific? Any ideas?

I want something secluded. There can’t really be any other people there, but it can’t be more than a couple of hours away from civilization either. Any kind of resort is absolutely not satisfying.
And, yes, it is strange that no one offers this as a vacation. I would at least buy it.
Kingman Reef is quite secluded. It tends to be underwater most of the time, however.
Try the Maldives. There are plenty of uninhabited island (atolls) to choose from; whether any have potable water is questionable, however. It’s tropical, though, and it sure beats Elephant Island.
