My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up, and I’ve decided to get him one of two extremely cool-looking Lego sets. I’m woefully uninformed about Star Wars though, so I don’t know which one to get him.
I really have no idea which one he’ll like more. He did mention a few times that he liked the bad guys’ ships more because they looked cooler. My lack of Star Wars knowledge means that I have no idea which of these ships, if either, belong to the “bad guy.”
Holy shite! Are you kidding me?? Get both! At $300 and $200 apiece, these’ll be collectors’ items!
Don’t get the third and fourth (x-wing and tie fighter), they’ve got normal lego sets for those. But not the first two.
Of the two, the star destroyer is cooler, but the blockade runner is more…unique, I would say. I think he’d get a lot more “What’s that? Oh, I remember those, that’s cool” with the blockade runner.

See, I don’t think I’ll be able to afford both of them for his birthday, being the college student that I am. I plan on getting him the Elven Warrior Sword for Christmas if it’s available by then. I probably have to start saving up for that after I buy him his birthday gift.
My favorite is the Imperial Star Destroyer too. Of course, I don’t think it’s too much to spend, but he doesn’t like me buying big, expensive things for him. I plan on using his 21st birthday as an excuse for this
