Scenario: I’d like to send a Care Package to my girlfriend in Chicago. I’ve got a few things lined up already (sappy gift, heartfelt letter, you know). But I’d like to send her some food as well. Sweets, preferrably.
Rules:
- Must be easy to make, for a 25-year-old guy with only basic cooking skills and rudimentary ingredients. I can bake pretty well if I put my mind to it (used to make cookies and brownies all the time in high school).
- Must travel well, in the sense that it can survive through a couple of days in the hands of the USPS relatively intact.
Types of foods/snacks I could make would be good, specific recipies would be better. Packing/shipping tips would also be appreciated.
I now leave my fate in the hands of the Teeming Millions.
