Ok, I know this might need to go in GQ, but I’ve been asked to do a friends wedding, since I am a www.ulc.org]ULC Minister, but I have to admit that I signed up more as a gag than for any real reason.
Well, some friends from work are asking me to do their wedding, and I don’t have that little black book of vows and ceremonies that seem to be the hallmark of a minister.
What I need from the Teeming Millions, is some help finding a place on-line wherein I can find a good set of vows, non-denominational, though invoking god is ok.

had dinner with the brides family tonite. they’re all catholic. I’m terrified that I’m gonna blow this wedding and her family will have me burned at the stake!!

About.com has lots of sites for wedding vows.
Help them come up with personalized vows here by following their outline.
Ultimate Wedding.com has all manner of wedding type vows, including a Medieval ceremony.
Just a note, the ULC says that their ministers are licensed to perform ceremonies in all 50 states and that’s probably true. However, several states have caused some problems for couple smarried by ULC ministers. Each state has it’s own rules regarding who can legally marry people. Might not be a bad idea to check the exact laws regarding officiating a wedding in your state just to be 100% sure everything will go off without (or, I guess, with ;)) a hitch!
The ULC offers a “Basic Ministry Package” for $30–it has everything you need, including your little black book. You don’t have to get a package though–you can get your own little black book for $10, or “The Ultimate Wedding Ceremony Guide” for $18. And get your friends their very own sainthoods as a gift! It’s just a great place to shop.
