Yes, pretty sure. I still see things like say a Focus or a Camry from the 00s, but they don’t seem as common as cars from the 60s were in the 80s. Now, I live in Texas, where cars don’t usually rust as rapidly as they do in other areas. So that could be why vehicles from the 60s were long lived here.
I think’s that’s the key reason: people who can afford the gas can also afford a newer car.
