Best wishes for a full recovery.
Oh, c’mon! His hair was the only reason I was interested in his trial.
Good luck with the treatment!
And his odd, plaintive gaze…
I almost said it was a “plaintiff” gaze, but I thought it’d be a little bit of a stretch, even for a bad, stupid pun.
Also, to you working with the various diseases, the best of luck to you. That’s a trial and a half, that’s for sure.
At one time, Ulta would cut and style your hair for free if you were donating it to Locks of Love. They may still do it … it’s just been a couple of years ago that they did it for my friend’s daughters.
ETA: I watched the girls at Ulta when they did my friend’s daughters and they simply put a ponytail holder on the bottom and one at the top and cut right above the top ponytail holder. All of the hair stays together in a bundle.
Parsnip
On the up-side, it’s not absolutely guaranteed that you will lose your hair. My wife kept hers through one of her chemo treatments. She was taking adriamycin, carboplatin, cyclophosphamide and some other things if that makes any difference.

Good luck to everyone in this thread!
As far as wigs, I would say to go crazy. Get one nice wig for professional occasions, of course; but, for the rest of the time? Go nuts! Get crazy red bobs and long, black curls. You can actually get some pretty decent “fashion” wigs that are made from synthetic hair for really good prices. Heck, around Halloween-time you can actually find some surprisingly good wigs around for amazingly low prices.
Bless you ,bless all of you ,I’m not very religous but I hope god looks on you kindly.
And I admire your "can do "attitude.
And I’ve prayed for you .
Hope it all goes well .
Mmmm, strawberry blondes. Good luck and best wishes! hugs tight
Best wishes to all of you. I have (had) several family members who have undergone cancer treatment, and one who passed earlier this year (we miss you, Bubba). An aunt of my ex used to wear mostly knit caps or scarves during her chemo treatments, until her hair grew back. She is now in remission and you wouldn’t know she’s ever been sick, from looking at her hair.
