I pit Alice Walker

I totally cosign on this. Alice Walker may be a great writer (although, to be honest, I haven’t cared for much of her work after “The Temple of My Family”), but that stands totally apart from her personal suckitude. Rebecca wants to exploit both of these aspects of her mother for her own benefit–which makes me question some of the things she’s come up (although I have no doubt that Walker was the opposite of Mother of the Year material). And let’s not get into the stupid “Now that I’m a mother I live and breath my child and want nothing else in the world” nonsense that Rebecca’s written about. It’s gag-o-rific. The child’s got issues.

Thing is, where do you think those issues came from?

Is that what those silly Nazis meant by “the final solution”?

I think it pisses God off if you walk by Bounty the quicker picker upper in a diner somewhere and don’t notice it.
