He could have contested those accusations, or ignored them, or said the person making them was misinformed. But instead, he either laughed at them or accused them of antisemitism.

I do agree that Babale has not said anything that makes me think he approves of genocide or favors it against any group. That’s a rather bizarre accusation.
This is fair, and I would agree with this for the most part. I think Babale is one of the most considered, rational and insightful posters on this board, WITH THE EXCEPTION of his defense of Israeli actions, where he becomes belligerent and dismissive of a lot of fair points raised by others.

And the same people who used to use the “there aren’t going to be any camps” argument have now moved the goalposts to “yes, there are camps but they’re not death camps” as if that’s somehow a mitigation. And then they blame the ones who sounded the alarm early for how bad things have gotten
