But I think a lot of that comes from what modern conservatism have evolved into, and how its pretty much allied to ignorance. I suspect that back in the 70s when the left was gibbering about how Albania was the lighthouse of socialism and absolutly something to pattern out economic policies on, the positions would have been reversed.
