<aside> Many years ago, when Kerry Packer tried to take over the cricket world, I managed to wrangle a job as a gofer for the Australian team when they played “The Rest of the World” in an exhibition Canberra. I can say without a doubt that World Class cricketers are the foulest-mouthed, stupid, and mean people on earth. I got to take out the “drinks” for them and they would drink half the cup and either throw or spit the remainder on my shoes. Every single one of them. I guess some people would have felt lucky to have Dennis Lillee and Rodney Marsh spit on their shoes. I am not one of them.

That happened years ago. I’m not sure what the American network equivalent of Channel 9 would be. Fox is our Channel 10, but Nine? Nine is the network that wants everybody to be white, suburban, and compliant. In fact, I remember an alternative film years ago where Australia fell to a totalitarian government which drugged the water and forced everybody to watch Channel 9.
Channel 9 is like valium-laced fast food for the masses or something.
