Granted, I chose to live in the college town I’m in. I am not an alum of the school. I knew it would have a bit of a frat boy atmosphere. For the most part, I do enjoy it, and not all the kids are drunken fucksticks. I understand that the kids want to have a good time, I understand that they will party, I get that. I have no problem with that. The 5 boys that share the house across the street from me have a party every weekend, but are not too loud, neither they nor their guests are obnoxious, they don’t vandalize my property and if their is a mess outside the next day, they are out their cleaning it up. I can live with that.
What boggles my mind is that these young ADULTS, who are going to an institution of supposed HIGHER LEARNING, turn into unsocialized, drooling simpletons with destructive & violent tendencies every fucking Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. There is no excuse. Getting wasted is not an excuse for bad behavior.
Yeah, I’m getting crusty in my old age.
