Not in the official version. That one was only in the version they showed late at night after all the kiddos were in bed.
Zomb-zombini, zommb-zomini, zomb zomb, zombie.
And from somebody who should definitely know better.
How the fuck do you manage to resurrect a 10 year old thread to make an insignificant, off topic point?
It was a successful resurrection, but the patient died.
It just got linked in the Cafe Society thread about Harlan Ellison’s rant on Disney’s take on P.L. Travers.
I hope this one doesn’t get locked, because it probably has the best title in the history of threads.
I didn’t realize it was a zombie when it was linked. I’ll go clothe myself in sackcloth and pour ashes on my head.
Nope, I’m afraid it’s self-flagellation for you (hands Spaz a cat-of-nine-tails).
You know the rule about cat threads.
It’s a form of Substitutiary Locomotion.
To be honest, because the year of the original posts was 2003, my poor befuddled brain substituted 2013 and I was not aware that it was a zombie when I read it. Then I noticed a post from Dio and suddenly had a strange sensation of trading upon unholy ground.
I like both movies having watched them in the theater when they came out.
I like this thread and I am glad it was brought back. fist
Calling Fenris an “ignorant slut” and doing it in a correct manner, makes this revival worthy.
Defend yourself(again), worthless one.
I just want to defend Dick Van Dyck.
I’ve seen a thousand people beat on him for the accent, as if he were simply incapable of doing a real accent for the role. Hell, earlier in this thread people were speculating that Disney just HAD to have a guy who could dance and were stuck with Van Dyck even though he couldn’t do the voice.
That’s crap. DVD was doing it on purpose because he was being funny! Agh!
If he could’ve done the accent correctly, that was a real dyck move not to.
Dyck move or not, if he had done the accent correctly, the overwhelming majority of the intended audience (American/Canadian) would have never understood a word he said. (Ever see Bob Hoskins speaking his native dialect instead of using his American dialect?)
The real question is, is Fenris indeed an ignorant slut? Is he still an ignorant slut?
And is that a bad thing? I mean, surely someone as cool as Euty wasn’t slut-shaming…
I’ll second that. Mary Poppins is an embarrassment.
