The only time I don’t like them is if I screw up and try to go into a stud. Then they crumple and tear up the wall. I’m worthless with a stud finder and I don’t know why. They never seem to be accurate for me.

I have this problem too, though I usually drive a nail into the wall to create a pilot hole for the anchor. That way if there’s a stud I find it with the nail, and then I’ll just use a drill and self-tapping screw.
