Every computer game I’ve played that allowed for swimming up uses either the up arrow key or the space bar. This is a very standard command.
But if you can’t figure out commands, here’s a list of them. They’re pretty standard for 3d movement games, but if it’s your first one, it’s worth looking over the list.
The drowning happened after I remapped the movement keys to what I’m more used to. It’s like I went too fast for the architecture to process, and kept me stuck in the water while pseudo-buffering.
I would second this. I’ve added mods manually using Forge, and it is not easy. The FTB launcher and the ATI Launcher make life much easier. I’m playing Resonant Rise right now, which has a shitload of mods.
Oh yeah, I would second the Boots of the Traveler comment. I just made my first pair, and am wondering what I was thinking with my old Mekinism boots.
